The American Tree Farm System has an annual award for the Tree Farmer of the Year (TFOY). The award is presented to the individual who best exemplifies the accomplishment of quality forest management and the promotion of sustainable forestry.
If you are interested in submitting a nomination for Tree Farmer of the Year, please read the guidelines below.
If the Tree Farmer qualifies for TFOY, fill out the nomination form and submit to the:
Tree Farm Program, PO Box 26, Rupert, VT 05768.
You will note that we should have had these submitted by October 1st to the Tree Farm Committee, so will be accepting nominations until December 1st. We know you are all busy, but am hoping that we get a few applications from all over the state.
